Dr. Gökmen Öztürk completed his medical degree in 1994 at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in Bursa. After graduation, he returned to Istanbul and began his medical career as a resident doctor at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital.

After completing his residency, he earned the title of Specialist Doctor in 1998. By the early 2000s, he continued his career steadily at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital with the title of Chief Assistant. Between 2000 and 2006, he served as a General Surgery Specialist and Deputy Chief Physician at Trabzon Fatih Regional Hospital.

Following 2006, he held the title of Assoc. Prof. Dr. at Medipol University and Nisa Hospital. He also joined the MEDENLive Health Group. Dr. Öztürk received numerous advanced trainings in the field of medicine and successfully performed the first laparoscopic colon resection, laparoscopic reflux surgery, and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair surgeries in the Black Sea region in 2002.
